Martina Bonaldo

Martina Bonaldo

Born in Mantua, Italy, in 2022. Since 2022, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación BBVA Viola Chair with professor Diemut Poppen. She has been granted scholarships by Reale Foundation and Fundación Albéniz.

Since 2009, she studied at the Lucio Campiani Conservatory in her hometown with professor Grazia Colombini. At the same time, she attended regular courses with Davide Zaltron. She was awarded her first degree in 2021 with Honours. She has attended masterclasses by artists such as Davide Zaltron, Daniel Formentelli and Tobias Lea. She is currently finishing her studies at the Lucio Campiani Conservatory, whilst taking the specialisation Viola course with Maestro Simone Briatore at the Pinerolo Music Academy.

In 2021 she was accepted to the W.Stauffer Centre For Strings Academy in Cremona, where she studies the Stauffer Artist Diploma in Viola with Maestro Bruno Giuranna. She is very active in chamber music and orchestra festivals.

As a student of the School, she has been a member of the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada.
