Born in Singapore, in 2001, she graduated with first-class honours from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in 2024, where she studied with Vicci Wardman and Susie Meszaros. She is now completing a one-year Master’s Degree. Michaela has performed in renowned recital series across the UK and will represent the RNCM at the 2025 Intercollegiate Cavatina Competition. She was a finalist in the 2023 RNCM Concerto Competition and joined the Santander Encounter in 2024. She has held principal positions in RNCM ensembles, taken part in the BBC Philharmonic Professional Experience Scheme, and freelances with the BBC Philharmonic and Welsh National Opera. Her performances include appearances at major venues such as Bridgewater Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall.
