Milan Drake

Born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1998. At the age of five, he attended his first piano lessons, and he changed to cello three years later. He studied cello at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst with professor Jan Ickert. In addition to winning two editions of the Jugend Musiziert Competition, he was awarded first prize and a special prize at the Mendelssohn Competition in Kronberg. Since 2018, he studies with Konstantin Heidrich at the Berlin University of Arts. Regarding chamber music, he has participated at the German Chamber Music Competition with renowned musicians such as Martin Spangenberg, Angelika Merkle, Susanne Stoodt, and members of the Fauré Quartet. He also completes his musical career with the Artemis Quartet.
