Paul Lecocq

Born in the United States in 2005, he came to prominence at the 2022 Long-Thibaud Competition, where he reached the semi-finals and was praised for his “exquisite touch” and “natural lyricism” (Pianiste Magazine). He has performed at major festivals such as La Roque d’Anthéron, and with orchestras including the Pazardjik Symphony (Bulgaria) and the Euregio Chamber Orchestra (Germany). A prizewinner at numerous international competitions, he recently won 2nd prize at the 2024 Pierre Barbizet Competition. He currently studies at the Paris Conservatoire with Claire Désert, and actively explores chamber music, the harpsichord, and contemporary repertoire, regularly collaborating with composers and leading musicians in masterclasses.
