Ryan Char

Born in New York, United States, in 2000. He is a Chinese violinist of American origin who is now residing in Brussels. He has an especial interest in fusing modern techniques with historical performance practices. He has recently graduated with First Class Honours from the Royal Academy of Music, and he is now studying with professor Yuzuko Horigome at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. He has previously studied with Joshua Fisher, Nicolette Moonen and Simon James. Other relevant mentors are Kyung Sun Lee, Mihaela Martin and Dong Suk Kang. He has performed recitals as a soloist in the Benaroya Hall, the Harris Concert Hall, and the Angela Burgess Recital Hall and the David Josefowitz Recital Hall at London’s Royal Academy of Music.
