Sarah Pennington

Born in London, Great Britain, in 2004, she studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with the support of the Leverhulme Trust. Prior to this, she studied at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music, where she received the Freda Dinn and Ida Mabbet Prize. She was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for 3 years and held the position of joint principal horn in 2022, performing at the BBC Proms. She is now principal horn for the Odyssey Festival Orchestra and the University of London Symphony Orchestra. Sarah has also performed solo in the Elgar room at the Royal Albert Hall and has been awarded the Armourers and Brasiers' Brass Prize at Guildhall.
