Theodor Kaskiv

Born in Bern, Switzerland, in 2006. Since 2025, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Telefónica Violin Chair, under Professor Christoph Poppen. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

Coming from a family of musicians, he began his studies at the age of 4 with his father, Oleg Kaskiv, principal professor at the Menuhin Academy. He was educated at Institut Le Rosey and Regent International School, completing the International Baccalaureate. He has participated in masterclasses with musicians such as Anna Chumachenco and Tedi Papavrami, and has continued his training with his father.

He has received awards in international competitions such as “Lvivskyy Virtuoz” and the Grumiaux Competition. As a soloist, he has performed internationally and played with orchestras such as INSO-Lviv, the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, and the Menuhin Academy Soloists, appearing in countries including Switzerland, France, Italy, and Belgium.
