Toby Cook

Born in London, United Kingdom, in 1997. He has been granted scholarships from Ottilie-Selbach-Redslob and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin e.V. Graduated from Tabea Zimmermann’s class in Berlin, he has attended the IMS Prussia Cove in 2019 and 2022. He won the Barbirolli Award at the Viola Lionel Tertis International Competition, as well as the Len Lickorish Prize at the Royal Overseas League International String Competition. He has also performed in the Rome Chamber Festival, Ágora Music, and in chamber music, with members of the Berlin Philharmonic, with Matthew Hunt in the HellenMusic Festival, with Claudio Mehner at the Santander Encounter, and with members of the ARC ensemble in the Exile Music Festival in Toronto.
