Viviane Ghiglino

Born in Switzerland, in 2003, she moved to the UK to continue her academic training and, at the age of 15, she performed Reinecke’s Flute Concerto with orchestra while studying under Lisa Nelsen at Junior Guildhall. As a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (2019–2022), she performed in major venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, including a performance of Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé at the BBC Proms. A Rotary Young Musician award winner, she has competed internationally, receiving prizes at the British Flute Competition and Tutto Flauto. Currently in her third year at the Royal College of Music, she studies with Gitte Marcusson, Emer McDonough, and Rachel Brown.
