Jesús Herrera

Jesús Herrera (Linares, Jaén, 1987) has been the Artistic Director of the London Philharmonic Orchestra since June 2025. He previously held other leadership positions at the London-based agency Intermusica — where he specialised in international orchestral tours and special projects — as well as at the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra and the Miguel Delibes Cultural Centre in Valladolid. Earlier in his career, he worked as an artist manager in London (Intermusica), Madrid (Conciertos Augusto), and Paris (Agence Artistique Jacques Thélen).

He graduated in Piano, Musicology, and Arts Management, having pursued his studies primarily in Málaga, Paris, and Salzburg. As a pianist, he was profoundly influenced by masterclasses with Alicia de Larrocha and Aldo Ciccolini, and received 24 awards in performance competitions during his training years.

His career in cultural management began with his own initiatives, such as creating concert series at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and founding Davidsbuendler, a platform dedicated to supporting young performers. In addition, he has collaborated on recording projects, festivals, competitions, and charitable initiatives, thus gaining experience in cultural management from multiple professional perspectives.
