Two new calls for applications now open for entrepreneurial musicians


The Reina Sofía School of Music launches two new calls to foster entrepreneurial musical talent

In line with its commitment to the holistic education of musicians and the development of transformative initiatives, the Reina Sofía School of Music is opening the registration period for two programmes aimed at musicians with a creative drive, an innovative spirit, and a commitment to generating social and cultural impact through music.

Both calls are especially designed for young musicians interested in launching or consolidating projects with artistic and musical outreach.

1. Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Programme

Targeted at final-year students or recent graduates from Higher Music Conservatories in Spain, this programme offers both theoretical and practical training in entrepreneurship, social innovation, and cultural management, through a learning-by-doing methodology.

  • Hybrid format with 100% scholarship
  • Training in project management, communication, artistic law, impact assessment, among others
  • Personalised tutorials and mentorships
  • Funding of up to €3,000 per project
  • Official participation certificate

Requirements:

  • Be a final-year student or have graduated in the last two years from a Higher Music Conservatory in Spain
  • Availability to attend in-person sessions and work in teams (check mandatory dates in the guidelines)

2. Pre-INCUBATOR for musical projects

Designed to support ongoing musical projects, this initiative is aimed at musicians leading proposals with potential for growth and professionalisation.

  • Structured training in three phases: analysis, implementation and evaluation
  • Specialised mentoring and consulting
  • Funding of up to €5,000 per project
  • 100% online format with schedule and location flexibility

Requirements:

  • Project led by at least one graduate from a Higher Music Conservatory
  • Minimum team of 2 people (multidisciplinarity will be valued)
  • Commitment to online participation (minimum 100 hours per year)
