Raigambre

Raigambre is a musical and performative project developed in 2025 that seeks to recover the voices of female composers from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, establishing a connection with the local folklore of the territory where it is presented. Through community workshops and staged concerts, the Resonare ensemble creates a space for active listening, historical reflection, and connection with the rural environment.

The project is structured as a decentralized and feminist artistic experience, highlighting the silenced voices of history and the richness of popular traditions.

Objectives:

  • Highlight the creations of historical female composers.
  • Re-locate ancient music in rural and non-hegemonic contexts.
  • Establish artistic links with the community and its folklore.

Team: Iris Miralles (soprano); Violeta Casado (plucked strings); Inés del Río (plucked strings). María Casado (mentor).
