Ensemble Connect is a program of Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School and the Weill Music Institute in partnership with the New York City Department of Education that prepares extraordinary young classical musicians for careers that combine musical excellence with teaching, community engagement, advocacy, entrepreneurship and leadership.
From November 1 to 7, Ensemble Connect will hold a residency at the Reina Sofía School of Music during which it will carry out various activities in collaboration with the students of the School.
Ensemble Connect will inaugurate the program of the contemporary music series Series 20/21 of the Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical (CNDM) in the Auditorio 400 of the Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía with an interesting journey through the current American music with composers such as Missy Mazzoli. The concert will also feature three students of the Reina Sofia School: Mario Carpintero (viola), Sara Zeneli (violin) and Célia Garetti (cello).
Free admission until full capacity.
