The concert series La Generación Ascendente is one of the best examples of the School's objectives, as it combines in a highly demanding stage the maturation of talented young musicians with the dissemination of classical music in society.

In the concerts of the series, organized in collaboration with INAEM, the best performers of the School have the opportunity to take the prestigious stage of the Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid to offer the public new versions of the great works of the repertoire, in recitals, chamber groups or orchestral ensembles.

Hiroki Kasai student at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación BBVA Viola Chair with professor Nobuko Imai, and João Fransozo student at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación BBVA Viola Chair with professor Diemut Poppen, will offer recitals, accompanied on the piano by Juan Barahona and Antonia Valente.

Hiroki Kasai won in 2024 the Johannes Brahms competition in Austria, and will perform works by Britten and Schubert. João Fransozo received from Her Majesty Queen Sofía the Diploma to the most outstanding student of his chair in the 2022-2023 academic year, will perform woks by Knox and Brahms.
