The stage project ‘Españolidad’ is based on a plot premise: A group of friends of different nationalities meet at the house of one of them to prepare together for the ‘Prueba de Conocimientos Constitucionales y Socioculturales de España’ (CCSE), which is necessary to obtain Spanish nationality.
The two who were born in Spain will try to help the other four, who are Latin American, to prepare the tests, some of the answers to which, to everyone's surprise, they themselves did not know the answers.
The dialogues and reflections between the friends will give way to the musical numbers. The students of the ‘Alfredo Kraus’ Fundación Ramón Areces Voice Chair, under the stage direction of Alfonso Romero, will tackle in this concert various works from the wide zarzuela repertoire (‘Luisa Fernanda’, ‘Doña Francisquita’, ‘El Barbero de Sevilla’, etc...), with the aim of providing young artists with a technical-musical work experience to consolidate vocal and acting technique.
Free entrance until complete capacity. A limited quota of tickets will be available for booking and download two weeks before the concert.
Friends of the School can book their tickets in advance. Find more information on the Friends Programme here.
This concert will also be live-streamed on our Youtube channel.
