Ádám Balogh

Born in Pécs, Hungary, in 1997 to a family of musicians. He made his debut as concertmaster at the age of 13 with the Budapest Festival Orchestra. He is a laureate of the Sydney, Honens and Bartók competitions, among others. He performs frequently in Hungary’s main venues, as well as in Europe, United States and Asia. He studies with Arie Vardi in Hannover and with Dénes Várjon and Gábor Farkas in Budapest, where he pursues his Master’s Degree. He has attended masterclasses by Dmitri Bashkirov, Zoltán Kocsis, Roger Murano, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, and Yoheved Kaplinsky, among others. In 2017 he was awarded the Junior Prima Award, considered the most prestigious award in Hungary for artists under 35. Additionally, he received the Cziffra Festival’s Award.
