Clara Marimon Climent

Born in Reus, Spain, in 1996. From 2019 to 2022 she studied at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación ”la Caixa” Horn Chair with professor Radovan Vlatković.

She has participated in festivals, has attended masterclasses by professors Will Sanders, José Chanzá, Eric Terwilliger, Nury Guarnaschelli, Bernardo Cifres, Nicolás Gómez, Erich Penze, Froydis Ree Wekre, Raimund Zell, and Matthew Wilkie (wind ensembles). She has participated in encounters with Manuel A. Fernández and Gustavo Castro. She has been awarded first prize at the 3rd Soloists Competition of Tarragona’s Conservatory (2014) and at the 3rd Catalonian Association of Hornists Competition (2016), among others.

She has been part of the Reus Symphony Band, InterComarca Youth Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Catalonia, Youth Symphony Orchestra of Galicia, Spanish National Youth Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Tineteret (Romania), and that of the Bärhof Ensemble.

As a student of the School, she has played with the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Pablo González and Pablo Heras-Casado), with the Sinfonietta (conducted by Baldur Brönnimann) and in the World Heritage Cities series (Tarragona and Segovia). In 2021, she took part in the 30 Anniversary Tour of the School with the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada, performing at Teatro Real of Madrid, Reduta Hall of Bratislava, Liszt Ferenc Academy of Budapest and Musikverein of Vienna.
She has been a member of the Cosan, Beethoven and Gounod ensembles, the Fundación Mutua Madrileña Ensemble and the O Globo Quintet.
