Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2000. From 2023 to 2025, he studied at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Unidad Editorial Double Bass Chair with professor Wies de Boevé.

He studied double bass at the Santa Cecilia Academy until 2018, when he entered the Orchestra National Academy where he studied with professor Yury Aksenov. In 2021, he continued his training at the Music School of Lisbon with professors Manuel Rego and Domingos Ribeiro. He has also attended masterclasses by Janne Saksala, Domingos Ribeiro, Luis Cabrera, Gunars Upatnieks, Janusz Widzyk, Philipp Stubenrauch, Joel Quarrington, and Matthew McDonald.

Additionally, he has been part of the Gulbenkian Orchestra of Lisbon with a temporary contract after an audition for a list of substitutes at the end of the 2021-2022 season.

As a student of the School, he has performed with the Freixenet Orchestra, conducted by Péter Csaba and Nicolás Pasquet). He has also been part of the Unidad Editorial Bottesini Double Bass Quartet and of the Fundación Mutua Madrileña Ensemble.
