Margherita Brodski

Born in Rome, Italy, in 2003. Since 2022, she studies at the Reina Sofia School of Music’s Flute Chair with professor Jacques Zoon. She has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz. Her Majesty Queen Sofía handed her the Diploma to the most outstanding student of her chair in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Coming from a family of musicians, she began her studies under the guidance of Deborah Kruzansky at the Froisinone Conservatory. She currently studies with Oliva at the Santa Cecilia Academy. She has also participated in an encounter with Paco Varoch and has attended masterclasses by Pirmin Grehl, among others.

She is an award winner of several international music competitions such as Betti, Köhler, Krakamp and she has also been awarded second prize at the Severino Gazzelloni Competition.

She has performed in music festivals such as Ticino Música, Falaut Campus, Entroterre, Gazzelloni, Livorno Music, Visioni, Marche, Ente concerti di Pesaro and for the chamber music season with the Lublin Philharmonic, Poland. In 2021 she was also invited to perform a recital for the Italian Embassy at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

She has performed as soloist with the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra and alongside artists such as Calogero Palermo, Marco Rizzi, Giovanni Gnocchi, Ivan Podyomov, Andrea Oliva, Michele Marasco, Gabor Meszaros, Jacques De Le Planque, Yuval Gotlibovich and Jonas Villegas.

She has released a “Giovani Promesse” CD with Falaut Magazine.

As a student of the School, she has been a member of the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada and Juanjo Mena, and of the O Globo Quintet. She is currently a member of the EY Ricercata Quintet.
