Mariia Arteeva

Born in Voronezh, Russia, in 2001. She started playing violin at the age of four at the Voronezh Music School. At the age of 15 she continued her studies at the Moscow Central Music School under the guidance of professor Elena Chvertok, with whom she continued her training after having graduated in 2020. She was invited to the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin to study in professor Mihaela Martin’s class in 2022. She has worked with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Fabio Mastrangelo, Jan Lathan-Koenig, Gintaras Rinkevičius, and Alexander Sladkovsky. She has performed in festivals and projects in Armenia, Germany, Italy, Greece, Austria, and Switzerland. She is also a co-founder of the “Fiori Musicali” chamber orchestra.
