Milan Thüer

Born in Mönchengladbach, Germany, in 2003. He started his early musical education with the piano, but finally opted for the double bass. He received his first lessons at the Rhein-Kreis Neuss Music School with Arne Diekow and was accepted into the Robert Schumann Musikhochschule’s early studies programme in Düsseldorf in 2018, where he studied with Vlado Zatko. Since 2021, he continues his training at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin with Esko Laine and since 2022, is part of the Orchestra Academy of the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin. He has also performed with the Bundesjungendorchester in Germany and has attended masterclasses by professors Stanislav Anischenko, Christian Rieger, Boguslaw Furtok, Rick Sotijn, and Maria Chirokoliyska, among others.
