Tickets

The series Soloists of the XXI Century was born in 1992 and is one of the longest-running of the Reina Sofía School of Music. Held in collaboration with Radio Clásica de Radio Nacional de España, every Saturday morning in May, it brings to the stage talented young musicians who will be the protagonists of the musical life of the coming years.

All the concerts in the series are also broadcast live on the radio as part of the series Los Conciertos de Radio Clásica, which allows to reach thousands of listeners of this radio station, an indispensable pillar in the dissemination of classical music in our country.

The delicacy of Fauré and Ravel, the introspection of Eötvös and Levinas and the playful and ironic facet of Boulez and Shostakovich, shake the colorful timbre range of the piano in this concert. The instrument will be a laboratory of resonances, densities and new and suggestive gestures. The concert will be given by the students of the Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair German Skripachev, Jiyoun Shin, Saori Ishikawa and Mikhail Tolstov.

It is recommended to arrive 20 minutes in advance, as a brief introduction to the concert will be given to the audience at 11:45.
