For this masterclass, prof. Tamestit starts by correcting the tempo played for the student at the beginning of the movement. Besides, he makes some general recommendations: balance the vibrato with the pressure and bow speed. It is important to adapt these elements regarding the speed.
Also, Tamestit suggests not to stop the resonance of the strings. The appropriate body posture shall help us to release and use less energy while we are playing.
