Isabel Charisius gives some indications, following the score, about the details the ensemble should improve: the intention in viola, the vibrato in violins, the need to unify the bow strokes at the beginning, studying in front of the mirror. Later she speaks about character, the convenient gestures in violins, the colour in different voices and moments, intonation in some passages, the importance of body language, the voice balance. Then the students try all the corrections by playing. Professor Charisius focus on viola part and gives some advices about how to show themselves in front of the audience and the adequate attitude to face a performance. She places much importance to every aspect related to expression and colour.
