POULENC, Francis
Trio for oboe, bassoon and piano FP 43
II. Andante
Ramón Ortega Quero, professor
Nedley Antonio Robles Jiménez, oboe
José Manuel López Agarrado, bassoon
Alina Artemyeva, accompanying pianist
For the professor, the ending could be more delicate and include a slight ritardando. In general, since this movement is harmonically simple, there is more freedom to create motion and make the musical content more engaging (through changes in color, agogics, etc.).
They go back to the beginning with this idea in mind. Ortega offers suggestions mainly aimed at enriching the expressiveness of the music, including guidance on phrasing, dynamics, note lengths, vibrato, timbre, and more.
